“Three shots, 800,000 total, and you got 400,000 up front, right?”
How it begins
Eunyul spreads her hand to show the blue crystals on its back and goes over the terms of the ad shoot: three photos, KRW 800,000 total, KRW 400,000 already paid up front. Rent is due, but she's doing three shots, no more. As photographer Doha takes the first one, she stops her hand before the crystals can fade. "They grow on my hand when I'm scared." She squeezes a familiar cloth star to calm down, and the crystals melt into water. Doha is unbothered. "It's fine. All I need is the photos."
