Pilot artist program in preparation

Turn the story you already have into a drama.

An Instagram comic, a script in a drawer, a story you jotted down. Send what you already have. No video experience needed: NextEp makes it an AI drama and publishes only after you approve. The rights stay with you.

Send my storySee how it works

We are preparing a pilot program. We review what you send and reply by email. Sending material transfers no rights and does not commit us to production.

Any of these will do

  • Instagram comic, 4–10 panels
  • Script or screenplay

hyeri_toon The day before the holiday my husband said “let’s just help a little”. A little was six hours, and the thank-you money landed in his account. #instacomic #holiday #daughterinlaw

Left: a 4-panel comic NextEp drew as a sample (fictional account). Right: a scene from the drama NextEp actually released from the same story, “My Husband Made Me Work the Holiday and Pocketed ₩300,000” (5 episodes).

How it works

  1. 1. Send your comic

3–5 representative post links, front and side character drawings, and a tone memo (voice, things to avoid). No video experience needed.

  2. 2. NextEp animates it

We break the story into scenes based on your style and characters, then add motion, voice and Korean/Japanese subtitles with AI. You see the first scene before anything else is made.

  3. 3. You approve, then we publish

The finished episode goes to NextEp and YouTube only after your approval, credited with your name and Instagram. Revenue is shared under the agreed contract.

What you get

  • Zero production cost

NextEp covers the agreed animation budget. You provide the art and the story.

  • Your rights stay yours

You keep the copyright. Scope, term and languages are agreed after selection; sending material transfers nothing.

  • No release without approval

You review the first scene and the final cut, and can ask for changes or stop.

  • Followers come back to you

Featured on the NextEp site and our Korean and Japanese YouTube channels with your name and Instagram link. The goal is to send viewers to your original comic.

What to send

  • Your Instagram account and 3–5 representative post links
  • Front and side drawings of your characters (whatever you have) and frequent expressions
  • 1–2 episodes you would like to see animated
  • A memo on voice, things to avoid and mood (optional)

What NextEp commits to

  • We do not change your style. No new characters; we only animate what you drew.
  • We do not use your art for other works or for AI training.
  • Published videos disclose AI production and credit the original artist.
  • Revenue share, budget and term are set per work by contract, based on the writer co-production terms.

FAQ

Will the style look the same?

AI animates from your drawings, so lines and colors may shift slightly. That is why you see the first scene first; if it falls short, we stop.

Does it cost anything?

Nothing on your side. NextEp covers the agreed production budget.

Can I send posts already on Instagram?

Yes. Panels containing other people's art, photos, celebrities or brands may be excluded pending rights checks.

What if my comic is not selected?

We do not keep or use your material after review.

Teams or published works?

Whoever holds the rights can send it. Works under a publisher or agency contract need their consent first.

Just send it

The button opens an email draft. Your Instagram account and a few post links are enough to start.
