How it begins
Dust howls outside the door as Hyeonnok holds the last green filter up in front of his customer. "Let's ride out the storm in here," Hanbi says. "It's the last one," Hyeonnok answers. "Double the price." Hanbi doesn't waste time arguing and hands over an envelope of cash. "I've still got plenty of air," Hyeonnok says, all ease. Hanbi checks the split hose and points one end toward him. "Two hoses. We can both use it." "I've got my own. You use it."
