How it begins
Siwon, selling her house to pay off debts, has been scrubbing it herself when buyer Mugyeom sets down an envelope with the deposit. “You're here to see my house, right? I need the deposit fast.” His first words catch her off guard. “If I pay KRW 20 million, you'll keep cleaning, right?” Siwon peels off one cleaning glove. “I'm selling a house, not applying for a job.” When broker Dohyun slides a second agreement next to the sales contract, Siwon checks the price first. “It's still the KRW 300 million we agreed on, right?” Mugyeom smiles. “KRW 250 million—and you stay on as live-in caretaker.”
