I Tried to Keep Him Home, and I'm the One Who Left
Opening scene
“If the flowers are ruined, he won't leave for three months.”
How it begins
At the flower shop's workbench, Sodam snaps the stems of the fresh flowers meant for delivery, one by one—anything to wreck the contract that would take her boyfriend Gihan away for three months. “If the flowers are ruined, he won't leave for three months.” Seeing the damage, Gihan grabs the bundle of artificial flowers Sodam made. “We need three months of work to pay the shop's rent.” “Nobody's buying fake flowers.” But touring art director Jaehee runs a finger over the petals and says something no one expected. “We'll use them for three straight months. Artificial is better.”
The rest, we'll show you once it's made.
The flowers she broke were meant to keep him home—so why do they send Sodam away?
