I Broke the Plate, but the Art Stayed on My Clothes
Opening scene
“I can't hang a flaw like this in my home.”
How it begins
In printmaker Jungrim's studio, collector Taebin glares at a tiny smudge on the edge of his print—then tears the sheet he paid for in two, right in front of her. “I can't hang a flaw like this in my home.” Jungrim holds up a fresh print she made in advance and asks to keep the original plate, but gallery staffer Junseo cuts in: “The client wants to own the only one.” Taebin sets a thick envelope beside the plate. “One print. And destroy the plate.” Jungrim answers quietly. “Let me wash my hands first.”
The rest, we'll show you once it's made.
If he wants the only copy, why does the collector tear up his own print first?
Reactions help us decide what to make first. Production and release timing are not promised.
