My Dead Husband Came Back for the Money
Opening scene
“They said you were dead. You're alive?”
How it begins
Yejin is wiping her late husband's photo when she freezes. Wonjae—the husband—is standing at the door, very much alive. She flips the frame face down and looks away. “They said you were dead. You're alive?” Wonjae opens an empty bag and admits the death was his own lie. “I came for the money.” Yejin sets the funeral envelope from her friends on the table. “You're staying with me, right?” But Wonjae's eyes aren't on his wife's face—they keep darting between the empty bag and the cash.
The rest, we'll show you once it's made.
Why does the “dead” husband look at the cash before the memorial photo?
