How it begins
On their anniversary, Dogyeong hands Sara a red half-mask and asks her to be someone else instead of herself. “Just for today, pretend you're my first love.” Sara's smile freezes. She holds the mask to her face, but her eyes stay on the black mask still in the box—the one meant for him. “It's our anniversary. Call me by my name.” Dogyeong starts a two-minute timer. “Just two minutes. Like when we first fell for each other.”
