How it begins
At dinner, Seo raises her glass—“I hope you two are happy”—and her own finger hardens into glass and shatters. Her fiancé Dobin reaches for her hand, then stops. Their friend Wookyung sets a glass down. Seo drops her smile. “So my congratulations were a lie.” Dobin insists it's a misunderstanding and toasts to their future—and his finger turns clear too. At this table, anyone who toasts without meaning it has one finger turn to glass. Wookyung hides a glass under the table, while Seo stares at Dobin, the finger beside his ring now frozen solid.
