The Collector Who Stepped on My Shadow
Opening scene
“The appraisal's over. Today, you're the one going on the wall.”
How it begins
Collector Hyeonbeom plants his shoe on the shadow of Haeon's right foot, and her foot locks in place—she can't take a single step. He props an exhibit number tag beside her face, and when she drops her handbag, he pulls a knife. "The appraisal's over. Today, you're the one going on the wall." Haeon flicks on the work light at her waist; the shadow shifts, and her foot comes free. But Hyeonbeom stamps on her right-foot shadow again, and when a toppled tripod pins the shadow of her hand, her hand freezes too. Only the pinned parts go still—and Hyeonbeom locks the exit.
The rest, we'll show you once it's made.
He wants to collect her body too. What can she pin his shadow with to get out?
