I Combed My Hair, and My Daughter Grew Older Than Me
Opening scene
“You're still young.”
How it begins
Every time Moran, an actress preparing her comeback, draws the comb down, the lines around her eyes fade—and wrinkles appear on the hands of her daughter Hyunji beside her. When Hyunji reaches for the comb, Moran hides it. “You're still young.” Now older-looking than her own mother, Hyunji covers the mirror. She asks for the comb; Moran locks the drawer. Each stroke makes the one using the comb younger and ages the closest person in the same room by the same amount. Noticing that her mother stops combing whenever she's alone, Hyunji deliberately sits even closer.
The rest, we'll show you once it's made.
To take back the years her mother stole, who should she sit beside when she combs?
