I Cut the Blueprint, and Someone Screamed Next Door
Opening scene
“Cut it again. That's how we get them out.”
How it begins
Subin, an architect at a demolition site, cuts an exit shape into a floor plan—and a scream rips out of the next room. The wall splits on the opposite side, and a bloody hand pushes through the gap. Her coworker Jeo shoves the scissors back at her. “Cut it again. That's how we get them out.” When Subin flips the plan over, Jeo snatches the original and points to the next wall line. In this room, every cut on the plan slices the matching wall of the real building. Then Hwiseo taps twice with a finger, and Subin realizes the window on the plan and the source of the sound are on opposite sides.
The rest, we'll show you once it's made.
If the wall she cut to save someone hurt them instead, where does the next cut go?
