The Knife I Threw Came Back to My Hand
Opening scene
“You can only throw away your own tools. Hand over the work too.”
How it begins
Eunsol hurls the carving knife she snatched from Dogyeom at the wall. Midair, it swerves—and buries itself in her own palm. Dogyeom laughs, the bronze prototype in his hands. "You can only throw away your own tools. Hand over the work too." As Eunsol pulls the blade out, Dogyeom slams the iron door and kicks over a can of oil. In this room, any metal that hits the wall returns to the last bare hand that held it. Eunsol shoves at the door, but the key Dogyeom took never comes back—only the fire keeps spreading.
The rest, we'll show you once it's made.
When even a thrown knife comes back, can she win back the work that was stolen from her?
