The Reading No One Heard
Opening scene
“Was that line really so boring?”
The story
At rookie playwright Woobin's first staged reading, the audience doesn't react even to the actor's screams. Only then does Woobin notice the blue line on the floor: the seats were set outside the performance curtain that traps sound. Turning the curtain off would break the noise agreement with the studio next door, but leaving it on means not one line reaches the seats where they are now. How will Woobin end this reading?
