I'll Finish Before Clocking Out
Opening scene
“We gathered that warmth together. Is my turn over?”
The story
Glass artist Manseo and embroidery artist Isol use heat they gathered together in a shared workshop. Heat once used never comes back, and when Manseo turns on the drying room for a delivery, the workbench of Isol, who is on a final shift, goes cold. Delaying the delivery means paying a late fee, but leaving things as they are means Isol can't finish one last piece. Half the heat is left. Whose deadline gets warmed first?
