Dad, Lend Me a Hand

Opening scene

“Your hands made it here, so why do you keep rushing?”

The story

Glove test engineer Nayul puts on tactile gloves to learn cup-making from her potter father, who lives far away. The gloves send only pressure, never temperature or movement. Pressing with the same force tears only her own clay, and even with new gloves her father's touch arrives a beat late. As the return notice chimes and her father starts to take his gloves off, Nayul asks: is it really the gloves that are broken?

Trailer scenes

Can Nayul learn to make a single cup from her father through remote gloves?
