Dad Fixes the Sky
Opening scene
“Dad, can we walk one step less to get home today?”
The story
Horizon repairman Dagyeom must stitch up the split sky before the observatory opens. The thread has to be pulled from paths on his own land, and to get the longest thread he chooses the seawall he walked with his daughter Arin every day. As her dad insists it's fine because it's in his name, Arin picks up the stone the two of them had used as a marker. Undoing the stitches means returning the contract money. Which path will the next stitch erase?
