Dad, You Promised

Opening scene

“I never sold that chair. Why is it being returned?”

The story

On the day retiring carpenter Yeonjae clears out his workshop, a small chair he never sold comes back as a return. The returns box brought by the dokkaebi Hamji holds three promises left unfinished in this workshop, and it won't close until all three are kept. Even as he rushes to build the furniture he promised his daughter, the chair refuses to leave the threshold. He has to hand back the keys by evening. Whose promise has Yeonjae forgotten?
