The story
Apartment caretaker Jeongsu's catchphrase is “I'll handle it myself.” Every time he volunteers to do something alone, the stairs to the rooftop grow by one more step. With ten minutes left until the water comes back on, Jeongsu holds the roof key but still can't reach the top, and he even turns down help from his daughter, who came with a lunchbox. Is there any way to shorten stairs that stretch farther the higher he climbs?
