The story
Yudam, an apprentice accompanist at a piano academy, refuses to ruin her daughter Bori's first dance recital. Borrowing beats from a magic metronome keeps the music going even with shaking hands, but every borrowed beat steals a sound from her next performance. Just before the show, word arrives that she's been picked for a solo audition, and six keys in a row fall silent under her fingers. Unwilling to lose either her promise to her daughter or her own big chance, how will Yudam handle the six beats she still owes?
