How it begins
Dain lifts the mattress on a brand-new bed and finds the price tag. The room deposit Dain left with Yeojin has turned into a bed. “You bought this with my deposit?” Yeojin doesn't flinch. “We can both use it, right?” Dain holds up a phone: that 1 million won was for the room. All that comes back is that there's no cash right now. Dain shoves the moving boxes toward the door. “Pay me back before the truck gets here. We're not moving in together.” Yeojin mutters, “I'd have to sell the bed to get the money.”
