My Father Bought My Past at Auction
Opening scene
“My daughter said it was fine.”
How it begins
Museok, Yeobin's father, holds up her childhood sneakers and smiles for the camera. "My daughter said it was fine." As Yeobin moves in, organizer Aeri sets her mother's voice recorder on the auction block, and Museok raises his paddle from the front row. Yeobin tries to pull the recorder from the sale, but Aeri says Museok has already paid the consignment deposit. Museok offers to give it back once he wins it, if she apologizes to him first. Then Yeobin notices: Museok walked in empty-handed, but Aeri has stashed a stack of small bidding paddles under the stage.
The rest, we'll show you once it's made.
Why does the father who came back start by buying the things his daughter treasures most?
