How it begins
Serim opens the door of her pawnshop to find her own safe dangling from a truck. Her mother, Mija, jingles the building keys. "Your shop is mine, so that's mine too." When Serim grabs the hauling rope, Mija's boyfriend Jaeuk wrenches the key from her hand. She insists the safe holds other people's property, but mover Taeksu says he's already taken a deposit and keeps working. Mija orders her daughter out of the building. Then Serim spots it: the travel ticket in Jaeuk's bag. Just one.
