The Stove Knows
Opening scene
“Even here, you're hiding what you want to say to me?”
The story
Woodwork designer Miju, about to renew a shared studio lease, hears her colleague Yeoun's true feelings from a stove that releases the words an object's owner has swallowed. When neither the products they made together nor the contract can keep Yeoun, Miju carries Yeoun's cup to the fire to hear more. Burned objects never come back, and Yeoun steps in to stop her: not that cup. With the signing hour approaching, what will Miju put into the fire?
