Take Off the Red Jacket and It's Over
Opening scene
“Cut the last twenty seconds and we can't submit it.”
How it begins
On set, as Doa pulls on a red jacket, director Sojeong jams a cap down over her head. "Cut the last twenty seconds and we can't submit it." The lead, Igeon, sits nearby holding the exact same jacket. Doa asks who will play the running body and the face that turns, all in one shot—and asks to show her face at the final corner. Sojeong says they're only shooting from behind and calls action. When Igeon suggests a separate face shot, the director refuses: the ending is one unedited take. Doa does the math. Whoever runs up to that blocked door has to be the one who turns around.
The rest, we'll show you once it's made.
Can a stunt double steal the final shot that keeps her face on screen?
Reactions help us decide what to make first. Production and release timing are not promised.
