Opening scene
“The fired mechanic just stopped the winning car.”
How it begins
Driver Chanho strikes a victory pose in front of the car, and pit mechanic Harin quietly rolls the tire cart back. The radio crackles with the restart call. When team manager Riwan tells her to finish the job before she leaves, Harin points at the bare axle. Chanho screams at her to hurry, but Harin fires back: if she's fired, they can call someone else right now. Riwan suggests bringing out the backup car, then sees its checklist is in Harin's hands too. Harin lays the work out on the floor: there's only time to get one of the two cars ready.
